If you just jumped on the Happy Planner bandwagon, then here is everything you need to know as a Happy Planner beginner. Heck, yes I want to bling-up my planner with some fringe tassels!īut beyond the cute add-ons, the Happy Planner (sometimes called the Create 365 Planner) is actually REALLY well designed and super useful! I'm trying to work out a two-way sync to round off the integration.I had been tempted by the long aisles of cute planner accessories from Happy Planner, and when it came time to buy another planner, I caved to the cute stickers, washi tape, and planner charms. It currently only syncs one way, so any changes to Notion calendar won't update the event in Google calendar. Would love to hear some feedback on what you'd like to see/what's missing. It's bad UX but its all I can do right now and raised a ticket with Notion Developer support to see if there's a way they can speed it up. I waited 5 mins once before one finally showed up. So if you're on the "Select a calendar page" and it just spins, try refreshing a few times. They tell me it needs to be "indexed" first. Notion doesn't give access to all of the data I need right away. There's a weird thing with Notion integrations that you'll notice during the onboarding process. Then I started seeing more posts asking for an integration to do this so figured I'd open it up to others. More features/syncs are planned soon, but I would love to hear any feedback you might have! My DM is open. I made it as a side project and there is a 7-day trial. It will check both calendars every 5 minutes, and create/update events in your Google Calendar and Notion database if necessary. This online tool keeps your Notion and Google Calendar in Sync! Just connect both calendars in SyncBuddy, set up the field mapping as per your Notion setup, and the tool will handle the rest. I tried Zapier and Make, but I never could achieve a full two-way sync between the two. However, I still struggled to keep both systems in sync I like having my notes, my longer-term/monthly planning in Notion, but for day-to-day items Google Calendar is the best. I love Notion and use it extensively, but I’ve always found its calendar lacking, and keep going back to Google Calendar for when I’m on the go.
